Use of the Barangaroo Foreshore by Community Groups

Barangaroo would like to invite community groups to discover the beautiful foreshore as a recreational space and a free venue for non-profit activities and community events.

Barangaroo is set to reinvigorate Sydney and provide the public with a spectacular western CBD foreshore on Sydney Harbour.

The Barangaroo foreshore is already attracting thousands of people each week who run, walk, cycle, fish and enjoy our beautiful harbour. With construction now underway, we have made a commitment to keep the 1.4km long, up to 30 metre wide foreshore open as much as possible during daylight hours, 7 days a week* so you can enjoy your new access to Sydney Harbour.

The Barangaroo foreshore completes the 14km path from the Anzac Bridge to Woolloomooloo and is the perfect place for you to enjoy the harbour views and see how construction is progressing.

How will you use the Barangaroo Foreshore?

This is your opportunity to gather your supporters, colleagues, teams and friends and tell us how you would like to use the concrete foreshore.

Perhaps you would like to hold a special members event, charity function or a more regular get together. You might consider hosting a series of public activities related to your interests, inspired by the harbour views and vision for Barangaroo as future Sydney.

Alternatively, you might like to suggest some new amenity or installation on the foreshore that would help you make the most of the space.

From November 2011 we will waive the normal venue hire fees for community and non-profit events. Please be aware availability will be subject to the construction program and cruise ship timetable.

For more information or to discuss your foreshore activation ideas please contact info@barangaroo.com. We look forward to welcoming you to Barangaroo.
