First fashion shoot for Barangaroo - unique location for Sydney
Photography began today on Barangaroo's
first fashion shoot - right on top of 250 square metres of
sandstone on Sydney Harbour overlooking the Sydney Harbour
Bridge.
Featuring a range of well
established and up and coming fashion designers, the industrial
style shoot, makes use of Barangaroo as a brilliant harbourside
venue.
Top international photographer, Nicholas
Samartis, shot new designs from the likes of Akira Isogawa,
Collette Dinnigan, Josh Goot and Sass & Bide.
Visiting model, Mira Kapshtyk, from the
Ukraine, modelled the latest designs from Sass & Bide and Josh
Goot during the shoot.
Designer Josh Goot says about today's
shoot, "Barangaroo represents an exciting moment in Sydney's
evolution as a great international city. Barangaroo will become a
Sydney landmark and will add a new dimension to our modern urban
experience. I am inspired to create fashion imagery within this
unique Sydney landscape at the beginning of what will be a
significant period of change for the site and our
city."
