In May 2011, the Minister for Planning and
Infrastructure commissioned the Barangaroo Review, an independent
review of Barangaroo compliance with the planning approval
process. On 8 August 2011, the NSW Government confirmed
its commitment to Barangaroo following a review which found the
project was worthwhile and has valid planning
consent.
