Barangaroo will be a world leading example of
environmental sustainability in a mixed use development, and
encouraging a high use of public transport is one of the ways in
achieving this objective.
Barangaroo will accommodate 4% of commuters by
car, compared to a city average of 20%.
Car parking at Barangaroo is based on a rate
per square metre of floor space type and there is a maximum level
of car parking imposed on the site through the Concept Plan
approval.
As published in the Transport Management and
Accessibility Plan Supplementary Report, as part of the Concept
Plan Approval for Barangaroo, the following are the estimated car
